Beyond the Office - Team building

We know that strong teams aren’t built through KPI’s & meetings — they’re shaped through shared experiences, good laughs, and getting just a little bit out of your comfort zone.

That was the aim of our latest team building day, which we’d say was a success!

We kicked things off with an activity no one expected but everyone secretly loved: sumo wrestling. Yes, full inflatable suits, lots of bouncing, and non-stop laughter. It was the kind of chaotic fun that instantly breaks down barriers and gets everyone cheering each other on (or gently falling on top of one another).

Next up: laser tag. Fast-paced, competitive, and surprisingly strategic (whether your was aimlessly shooting, running around, or hiding in the corner). We had perfect chance to team up, test our communication, and settle a few friendly scores. It wasn’t about who won (although some of us will absolutely tell you it was), but about working together and thinking on our feet in a different setting.

After all that action, we earned some serious downtime, which brought us to Wow Crab. This ,however, wasn’t your average dinner. The chef treated us to a custom-curated menu. Not just crab (as the name would suggest), but a full spread tailored to our group. From starters to mains, every dish hit the mark and brought the team together around the table. It was the perfect way to wind down, swap stories, and enjoy a meal that felt just a little bit special.

What made the day memorable wasn’t just the activities or the food, it was the energy, the connection, and the reminder that stepping outside the workday norm can go a long way in strengthening a team. We came back to work a little sore (thank you, sumo), a little full (thank you, chef), and a lot more connected.

Here’s to more days like this — where fun and teamwork go hand in hand.
