Our Event Venue Featured in Netflix Thriller iHostage: Filmed Right Here in The Hague

If you’ve recently watched the Dutch thriller iHostage on Netflix, you might have noticed something familiar… That police station? It was filmed right here at our event venue in The Hague.

We’re excited to share that our space was transformed into a fully functioning film set during the production of iHostage, now streaming on Netflix Netherlands. This project highlights our venue’s versatility not only for events but also as a film location in The Hague.

A Flexible Film Location in The Hague

Last year, our halls took on a brand-new identity: a high-security police headquarters, created entirely within our walls for the action-packed scenes in iHostage. The production team chose our venue for its:

• Open, adaptable layout

• Modern industrial aesthetic

• Easy logistics for equipment and crew

• Quiet surroundings ideal for filming

In a matter of days, our space was transformed with set dressing, lights, staging, and action, proving how flexible our event venue really is.

What Is iHostage About?

iHostage is a suspenseful Dutch thriller that blends technology, high-stakes negotiation, and modern social commentary. The story revolves around a digital hostage situation and a tense police response, set in a cityscape that includes… us!

The film was shot in various locations around the Netherlands, but key scenes (including the police command center) were filmed right inside our venue. For those familiar with the space, it’s a thrill to see recognisable rooms transformed on screen.
